The Tigers - Parachute Display Team
"THE TIGERS" BOOKING INFORMATION
TIGER ENTERTAINMENT!
Now that you've discovered who The Tigers are and where we've come from, why not allow us to entertain you and your visitors at your event?
The following information is provided for event organisers.

General
Up to date Team Public Relations material will be dispatched to you automatically, when ready. The following paragraphs, including the paragraphs of the detachable booking form, constitute the terms of contract between the parties. This contract takes effect from the moment the booking form is signed by the organiser or its representative, save that a provisional booking may be cancelled in writing within 7 days of a quotation being received by the organiser.

The Display
The team will consist of between 4 and 8 parachutists, subject to negotiation between the show organiser and the team commander.

The team is assisted on the ground by a drop zone (DZ) party consisting of a commentator and a ground controller (who will be in radio communication with the parachutists). The commentator will require a public address system at the side of the arena. So that he can accurately report on the display, this should not be enclosed in a commentary box. The ground controller is responsible for ensuring that weather conditions are suitable, and acts as a link between the organiser and the team on the day. The display will last approximately 20 minutes, and the team will be available afterwards to show their equipment and to answer any questions.

Costs
Our normal charges are as follows: A. Parachuting. (As a rule a 5/8 man show is offered)
(i) Parachuting charges are per man per jump. (This price includes one smoke cannister per man.)
(ii) DZ Control Party and Commentator are charged per day. (This price includes motor mileage.)

B. Aircraft.
(i) The aircraft charge will be made per display. This charge covers all aircraft costs from takeoff to landing, including a maximum of 20 minutes flying time over the arena. Should this time be exceeded due to the late running of a programme, and the team has not been notified of such a delay prior to takeoff, then a charge for excess flying time will be made per minute.
(ii) If a 5/8 place aircraft is unavailable from an airfield near the display we reserve the right to hire a larger aircraft from the same airfield or a smaller aircraft from a more distant airfield, whichever is the less expensive.
(iii) Should a display be cancelled due to factors beyond the control of the team, cancellation charges will be made.

Meals
Because of the odd times at which they work, it is difficult for team members to obtain regular meals. Organisers are requested to supply meal tickets whenever possible.

Vehicles
There is a requirement for team vehicles to have access to the edge of the arena, as near to the commentary point as possible. Vehicle passes are therefore required.

Insurance
The Team’s aircraft and equipment are fully insured and personnel have third party insurance to the value of £1,000,000. However, organisers, in their own interest, are advised to take out a third party cover for loss of life and/or injury to spectators and property. The premium is not large and could be included in the normal show policy.

You are advised to quote the following in your programme: "Parachuting can be a hazardous activity. Although The PWRR Freefall Team members are highly qualified and capable, there is always the possibility of the unforeseen accident. Spectators watch at their own risk."

Crowd Control & Permission to Jump
To comply with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations, show organisers must confirm that:
A. The team have permission to drop, from the owners of the land.

B. An area of at least 75 x 75 metres will be provided, completely free of all obstacles and that there will be complete crowd control, within this area, throughout the display.

C. The local police have been informed that a parachute drop will be taking place.

The necessary forms are enclosed. These forms are vital to the clearance of a demonstration and it is the organisers’ duty to return them promptly, duly signed by the appropriate persons. If the forms are not received within 28 days of the proposed demonstration then we cannot fulfill CAA regulations and will be forced to cancel the demonstration automatically.

Publicity
You are advised not to release publicity material until the CAA have passed the proposed demonstration, and any publicity material referring to the team or The PWRR must be approved by the Team Commander.

Settlement of Accounts
We would be grateful if all bills could be settled promptly.'
